My portraits are usually created using pastels, which enable me to build up delicate layers of colour and allow for fine detailing of fur and hair. I work with my clients to choose the very best photograph of their pet or human, which can be done via email, Messenger or WhatsApp etc. The quality of the photograph is essential to enable me to create the very best portrait I can.
All portraits are painted on quality Pastelmat or Hahnemuhle acid-free paper and handed over, upon completion, ready for framing.
I commence work after receipt of a deposit of (usually 100 Pounds) and am happy for clients to pay by installment if they wish. I provide regular photo updates of the work in progress and confirm not to share on my social media pages or website until the portrait has been received and/or gifted. I retain copyright and the right to use the image in advertising, art related competitions and on my social media accounts and website as examples of work completed.
As at January 2022, my prices are as follows:
Pastel portrait - one subject - 24x30cm 250 Pounds
Pastel portrait - one or two subjects - 30 x 40cm 475 Pounds
Pastel portrait - one, two (possibly three) subects - 35 x 50cm 525 Pounds
*prices are subject to change and confirmed at time of discussion, depending upon individual requirements and the complexity of the commission.
A deposit of at least 100 Pounds is required before commencement of work.
